The very next morning, the villagers wake up to the haunting sight of the birds lying dead on the streets. This mysterious phenomenon has earned Jatinga the doomy title of “Bermuda Triangle for Birds”. This phenomenon is not confined to a single species, with.

For a long time, the villagers have been scared of these foggy and moonless nights with the thoughts of evil spirits in the region.  Numerous experts have tried to solve the mystery , drawing different conclusions. However, the efforts by  ornithologists and conservationists have been successful in dispelling these beliefs. The birds’ arrival is now understood as a natural occurrence influenced by lights from nearby houses and floodlights during specific weather conditions on moonless nights.This transformation has allowed villagers to shift from considering the birds’ arrival as a result of evil spirits to viewing it as a ‘gift of Gods.’
